This is a clear rush grab to destroy the greenbelt while everyone is distracted with something else. It has been a massively unpopular move to develop the greenbelt and continues to be, yet this government still proceeds to try over and over again to get it passed. It is absolutely disgusting to seek short term profits over long term benefits especially when it comes to our environment which is especially important in this day and age of deforestation, global warming, and mass habitat loss & extinction. It benefits no one, even those who profit from this deal, to actively destroy any aspect of the greenbelt.
