As a Conservative Party…

As a Conservative Party voter in the last few elections, I am heavily opposed to any change to the Greenbelt for development. I trusted the party when comments were publicly made by minister Clark saying, "We’re not going to entertain any conversations about a land swap” on the Greenbelt. I was incredibly disheartened to hear a reversal on this statement, and feel betrayed by the party that I supported.

If, as a voter, I cannot trust that promises made by this government will be upheld, I will need to re-evaluate both my support financially and my vote in future elections. I am submitting this comment in the hopes that you will take the concerns of your every day constituents seriously, and uphold the promises your party made to us.
