The Ford government proposal…

The Ford government proposal to develop greenbelt lands cannot be allowed to happen. It is a blatant reckless land grab that will only benefit the builders who will blight a wonderous natural area - the Niagara Escarpment - that cannot be replicated anywhere else in Ontario, or Canada for that matter.

The answer to Ontario's housing crisis does not lie in the Ford government literally cherry-picking verdant greenbelt lands for permanent destruction with urban sprawl, the answers to that lie elsewhere and the Ford government must try harder to find appropriate cost-effective solutions instead of chipping away at greenbelt boundaries.
