As a resident of Ontario for over 30 years, I strongly oppose the development of the Greenbelt. The GTA and surrounding areas need greenspace to be kept green. Please do not allow for ANY development on these lands. The ecosystems depend on the compassion and decency of humans to leave them be - and not destroy them. Development for housing and other uses can be pushed further out to the West, North, and East where there are not environmentally sensitive or protected lands.
