We should try to build up and in, rather than out. Otherwise, we are paving over valuable farmland and wetlands during a climate crisis.
There are ample brownfield sites within the urban growth areas of all southern Ontario cities. Use these areas for medium- and high-density development and build more transportation instead, please!
