I’m disgusted by the provincial government’s decision to open up the green belt for development. Once this land is parcelled off and developed, we will lose critical green space and wildlife corridors forever. This land is protected for a reason and should never be parcelled off for profit and private gains. This decision will also open the door the way away at the green belt in future for-profit ventures, until the land is threatened by death by a thousand cuts.

This is an unconscionable decision, and one that I assure you is transparent to voters as the developer-cronyism it is. I condemn this decision in the strongest possible terms.
