What is being done to mitigate flooding?

Green spaces help hold water and stop places from flooding. Building high density by tearing down green spaces that are keeping us protected is a terrible idea.

What happens if there's another Hurricane Hazel? Will these areas be safe or are we going to let people die terrible deaths because we want to build on environmentally important areas?

Poor planning and building on flood plains has killed Ontarians and will do so again if we act without thinking.
