I agree that housing is needed - but it is LOW COST housing that is needed. This plan will only lead to more energy-consuming large homes, for the wealthy, with income going to developers and government. Besides, crucially, it consumes land that must be protected permanently to keep our air and water clean and to preserve the rich farmland needed to feed us. In a climate crisis we need to build UP not out and tax large homes out of existence to make space for low cost housing.
Stop being greedy, please.
