This proposal is extreme. Particularly in Pickering, Ontario where I reside. The Ford government has one foot out of office with this plan and is clearly not listening to the residents of Ontario. The intensity of density that Ford is planning for the GTA is going to erode any sense of peaceful living across the GTA as well as further erode the environment, quality of life and overall health of Ontarians. We understand the Federal Government has a target to welcome 500,000 immigrants but there is a lot of land in Ontario and no excuse to over populate the current residents of the GTA and erode their quality of life. This plans casts the belief that Ford is siding with developers over the general public. Very unpopular and suspicious.
