Nothing makes me more ashamed of my province than seeing proposed plans such as this. Our protected land should remain protected. Simple as that. There is no reason we should be focusing so much on urban sprawl to solve the housing crisis, when we could solve the same issues with densification. providing more housing for less cost - all while earning their respective cities more usable income from taxes as less infrastructure needs to be built and maintained.

Ontarians pride themselves in many things, but our province's natural beauty is always at the forefront. instead of killing it for short-sighted profits, we should be enhancing it. When did "Yours to Discover" turn into "Ford's to Pave Over"?
