I am very concerned about this proposal to remove land from the Greenbelt. There is no evidence that the land "swap" will result in a "net benefit" and the lands proposed to be added are already protected from development in other ways. The Greenbelt is a very popular policy tool that protects quality of life for all Ontarians.

I am quite disgusted by this government's overt pandering to special interest groups.
