As an Ontario resident, I am vehemently opposed to removing this important protected zone. We need to be building up rather than continuing to sprawl outwards. This will not fix housing prices, in the same way adding a new lane to the 401 every other year doesn’t reduce traffic. We need denser, walkable cities and towns. Stop this madness. We will never get these precious ecosystems back.
