Dear current Ontario…

Dear current Ontario government,
This proposal is not what is best for the people of this province. Developing the Greenbelt is a slap in the face to the next generation who already will have to compete with increased temperatures, increased flooding, stronger storms and will eventually have to deal with a lack of fresh water and food shortages. For once I beg you to stop thinking of your momentary monetary gain and think to the future. As I’m sure that morals are not enough to convince you, then please also know that I, a voter under 40, who identifies as an independent and has voted for your party before will take the passing of this proposal as the final nail in the coffin to NEVER vote for a provincial or federal conservative candidate ever again.
