Why on earth would you…

Why on earth would you consider developing on mineral rich land where the majority of our farming occurs?! With supply chains being a hot mess right now that land should stay protected to ensure food security in the province. Also much of this land is wetland and all the homes placed on land like this will suffer flooding issues and be a drain on insurance companies (and eventually the province when a flash flood causes a state of emergency in these areas).
