I have lived in the greenbelt my entire life. It was a point of pride that Ontario had put aside this important ecological area to protect the environment, the wildlife and future generations. How can you suggest developing our green spaces while entire buildings sit empty in our city centers? Landlords of nothing want to increase their fiefdoms of empty soulless buildings. We do not need manions built on our green spaces! For who? For what? So much biodiversity replaced with perfectly manicured lawns and invasive plants that do nothing to help our native species survive. This is criminal what Doug Ford is suggesting this province cannot take anymore destruction. If you want a solution look into the landlord racketeering, airbnb's in place of housing and the fact that entire buildings are empty. If you plan on your future generations being able to enjoy Ontario and survive do not ruin the ecosystem we all rely on being healthy.
