Ontario does not have a need for more McMansions, especially built on important and protected land. Doug Ford should look to implement better regulations to prevent sky-high rental prices and property hoarding, and take a stand against slumlords. Convert office and commercial buildings that are no longer needed in today's work-from-home reality to affordable housing for those who really need it. Do something about properties remaining vacant amidst a growing housing crisis. Protect renters and stop over empowering landlords and corporations.
