Absolutely not. This is not going to give us adorable urban housing.
Why are we destroying ecosystems so a few people can live in massive 4000 sqfoot houses? This isn't going to solve our housing crisis.
We need to focus on middle housing - low rises in existing neighbourhoods. Change zoning laws so these can be built in areas with existing services.
Also, please change the law if your building was built after 2018 that there is no rent control. My rent rose 20 perfect this year. Absolutely ridiculous. That law isn't encouraging anymore building that wouldn't have been built anyway.
