This proposed development is absolutely horrifying. Even besides the implications to the water table, protected lands, etc, the property taxes for these areas will not be high enough to cover upkeep. In other words, lower income areas that are denser will be subsidizing those well-off enough to purchase this land.
Stop urban sprawl, and listen to the people. Build up, not out.
