This plan is heinous. Picking away at the greenbelt will accomplish nothing apart from getting contractor “friends” paid. Housing demand will continue to be a problem so long as housing DISTRIBUTION remains a problem. Try doing something about “investors” buying up homes to use as investment properties, air bnbs, etc. There’s no help for housing demand as long as new properties continue to end up in the hands of investors.
