I think the developers involved in this project should be investigated and the ties to Doug Ford. Who is going to benefit from this project? Will these be at-least affordable housing, multi unit housing? If not how does this help “the housing crisis” if we’re only building houses for higher incomes who are not affected.

This government made a promise not to touch this area, why the lack of transparency and lying? There is no recommendation of this area and are other areas to build. Has the food security, environmental factors, and benefits to those affected by housing costs been actually researched or is Doug Ford making his friends richer? With the way the health care and education has been dismantled under his leadership I think this project should be at the very least delayed until our next election since it was promised it wouldn’t be affected under false pretences. This would give Ontarians the ability to use their voice in respect to this issue.
