I do not agree with the proposed changes to the green belt.

I understand that Ontario is rapidly growing and more housing is a priority but Ontario needs affordable housing not just housing. Nowhere in this plan does it say that the units built on the converted green belt land will be affordable, and there are no government incentives for land developers to make the newly constructed housing affordable. We do not need a plan that seizes conservation areas to create money for land developers. We need a housing plan that puts the environment and the people of Ontario first. I have serious doubts this plan accomplishes that.

I am offended and disappointed that the government would propose a plan like this.

I truly and deeply hope this plan is reconsidered and that the proposed changes are not approved.
