Absolutely not. Our green space should continue to be protected. We are losing land left right and centre affecting air quality, animal habitats, traffic pollution. If it is not protected and areas continue to be built up this is a problem FOREVER. We can not just get this space back. I do not live in the proposed area but I am a long term resident of Clarington. I am not a green peace activist but we need to protect nature, it’s inhabitants so as not to lose it for good. I don’t live here to live in a concrete jungle. The growth I’ve seen in 20 years in buildings saddens me for our green areas. I have appreciated raising my kids outside of a built up urban area and want to continue to enjoy it while staying in Clarington.
