My name is Brent Foley, a developer in Oshawa.

Why are you not opening the white belt rather than the greenbelt??
This decision has a lot of council and builders in the Oshawa area in awe!

We have thousands of white belt acres in the GTA , as close in proximity to services, on edges of urban boundaries and the intent is to grow the boundary into these areas. Never the greenbelt!!

You are changing the whole landscape of development as everyone knows it, for the worse. The white belt should be utilized prior the greenbelt. This seems obvious to everyone in the building world??

A very odd decision. One that will have a devastating impact and quite sad for wildlife, natural features and development as we all know it. If opening lands, open the white belt beside urban areas!
