Please do not do this. It’s reprehensible. Don’t blame this need on immigrants. Immigrants need to live in densely populated areas (cities and downtowns) not suburbs with limited transit.
There are plenty of other options to increase housing without encroaching upon the green belt. I am strongly opposed to this and am offended by the govt’ skies.
