If you start redesignating land for this, where does it stop? Protected land is protected land.

This is an incredibly slippery slope and this proposal should not be taken any further. Houses in the greenbelt will not help the housing crisis in the cities, it'll just give developers a chance to make a tidy profit off of their friendship with the people that proposed this.

A promise was made not to touch the greenbelt. Keep that promise or you won't get another term.
