This move to develop the greenbelt is uneeded, greedy, but most certainly short sighted. Not only did Mr. Ford promise not to develop the greenbelt, it has come out that he is doing so to benefit wealthy donors. Perhaps instead of ruining our environment, you could come up with alternatives to our housing problems that don't include devastating an already depleted greenbelt. What about developing vacant buildings in cities? There are other ways to go about solving our current situation. It's sad that with all the people this government has at its disposal it can't come up with less harmful alternatives.
