I do not agree with this…

I do not agree with this plan as it is extremely destructive for the ecosystems we rely so heavily on. There is a lot of unused/abandoned space in Toronto, the GTA, and even further in places such as KW. Using these abandoned building or old factory space and re- purposing them into housing, retail or other spaces would not only be a perfect use of existing resources, but also put money back into our communities all while keeping land protected that so desperately needs it. The green belt and conservationists that work within it understand the importance of this space, not only for ensuring natural habitat is preserved but also to ensure flood plains are maintained, water treatment can be done naturally, and so many other natural resources we rely so heavily on. In my opinion the green belt is something that should never be touched, and certainly not even considered when there is so many buildings/lots sitting empty inside our cities already.
