This is an atrocious idea…

This is an atrocious idea that needs to be stopped in its tracks. The Greenbelt is a protected area that needs to remain PROTECTED. Protected from development, protected from destroying the home of millions of creatures and nature. This is the exact opposite of what should be happening in response to the climate crisis.

Instead of building brand new homes that are bigger than they need to be and more costly, large office buildings in TO that are unused now could be repurposed into high density living accommodation. Tiny houses can be be built in alleyways.

We must protect the Greenbelt at all costs. We need to think many many years ahead and now just in the moment.
