I do not agree with this…

I do not agree with this proposal to change protected land in the Greenbelt into development land for housing.

We do not need to take protected and important environmental land in order to solve the housing crisis.

We need to regulate rent increases again, and build affordable housing where we already have residential land available. There are empty buildings everywhere because they are too expensive or being bought by foreign markets and businesses.

Do not destroy protected land for corporate greed, we need to keep this land protected, and we should add the additional lands being proposed to be protected as well.

I am saying this as someone who has been unable to buy a home due to the current market. I do not want to do so at the cost of our Greenbelt and green space.
