The Green Belt is supposed…

The Green Belt is supposed to curb urban sprawl and is not land “waiting to be used”. Considering southern Ontario has very poor public transit infrastructure in place as it is, we should be considering redeveloping underused land that is NOT within the green belt space. The goal is sustainable, walkable, community-driven development projects that will ultimately improve living conditions, home affordability, and Canada’s carbon footprint.
