Dear Mr Ford,

I find your actions inexcusable. Our levels of government have been set-up in such a way that management of the regions is done at a local level. What you are doing is a crime; you should not be able to just steam roll your rules into place. What happened to democracy in this country.

We need our farmland and green spaces. Your actions will allow these to be developed putting us into a position where we are no longer exporting more food than we import. How can you not see this is good for our regions, good for Ontario and good for our economy.

All this is going to do is provide more houses for the rich; it is not going to address our need for affordable housing.

I implore you to reconsider this draconian action and to work with the regions and cities to find a better solution.
