This proposed amendment to the Greenbelt Plan does absolutely nothing to alleviate the housing crisis in the GTA, and serves only to benefit developers. It is also detrimental to the environment and contrary to the original purpose of the greenbelt. Additionally, the building sites in question will put homeowners at risk of flooding. As a voter, taxpayer, homeowner, and resident of the City of Toronto, I do not want these ammendments passed. They do not serve the community in any tangible way.
