As a resident of Ontario, I think this plan is very poorly thought through.

Firstly, building these homes does not address the financial burden on Ontarians, many of whom are already struggling with the cost of living. We need affordable housing options where people already live, work, and have community.

Second, the Greenbelt must not be touched! That land is vital to a healthy and safe ecosystem. Ford stated that he would not touch the Greenbelt because that's what the majority of Ontarians recognized as important (preserving the land). The Premier needs to stand by what he said and what Ontarians decided. No building in the Greenbelt!
