This proposal does not address several reasons behind the need for increased housing, such as the unregulated real estate industry. The driving up of costs in all sectors including housing and construction while supply shortages in materials does not make sense. And given the vast areas of land that exist outside those indicated in the proposal makes one wonder why the need to encroach further into conservation lands, thus increasing the already unstable ecology. It is these protected lands that allow the area to prosper and are an attractive aspect for the area and must continue to be saved.
