I strongly oppose development on the Greenbelt of any kind - highway or housing. Scrapping the voices of conservation authorities and the wetland evaluation system is an appalling proposal. Wetlands in southern Ontario play a vital role in supporting our already existing urban areas through water filtration, carbon sequestration and FLOOD MITIGATION. The greenbelt needs to be protected in its entirety.
