This is an abhorrent and morally bankrupt proposal that goes against multiple explicit promises made by Premier Doug Ford to protect the greenbelt. The greenbelt is vital to mitigating the swiftly progressing climate catastrophe, and hacking chunks of it away and selling it to land developers is not the way to address the housing crisis.
