I have no documents of support. What I do have are my words of passion.
Ontario is my birth place and forever home. Over the years I’ve seen our lands in common chipped away. For example: the loss of Ontario place. I remember visiting Ontario place as a child; with my parents and my school. I took my children to Ontario place and wanted to take my grandchildren one day.

The green belt is so very important to Ontario’s sustainability. We cannot allow it to be diminished in any way, shape or form. We only have so much land and they are not making anymore. I fear that there will always be a reason to use more and more of our green belt. Then one day we will look back at the mistakes and realize it’s too late and we won’t be able to repair the damage.

Both my daughters age 21 and 17 know, and understand the importance of land preservation. My 21 year old is at university majoring in both Biology & Environmental science. My 17 is applying to university for environmental science. They both fear that the government is going to destroy our province. The government is a group of people that are supposed to do what is good for our society. They should keep our land safe and preserve it for future generations.

We must not fall onto this slippery slope! Please do not forfeit our Greenbelt for concrete!
