This more homes faster act is a farce - this government promised to keep the Greenbelt. This housing crisis has been building for years with speculators and foreign investors, LLCs, shell companies etc. who should not have been allowed to make profit off of housing. That you did not put a halt to that and increasingly Ford/"profit maker friends" - who also want to put in the 413 highway having bought land to make a profit - is obscene.
The ONLY way to build more housing is to reduce wasteful single-family homes and to increase infill, more apt buildings, condos etc to keep cities vibrant and increase public transit services. Enough with appealing to the immigrant influx - provide housing choices for current citizens and the generations here who will not be able and are not able to afford housing.
