I am in support of a review of a Place to Grow and Provincial Policy Statement. I feel the Settlement Area Boundary Expansion section needs to be revised. The current 10 hectare limit for Greenbelt lands is too small and needs to be increased and flexible based on the individual needs of each municipality. I also feel there needs to be an amendment added that addresses Greenbelt lands that do not meet the criteria. There are lands in the Greenbelt that should not have been put in and that do not meet the criteria for that zoning. A thorough and objective review of Greenbelt lands is needed to address the justified properties that should be removed.
