This does not address the real problem with housing in Ontario. Instead it gives unchecked power to housing developers, granting them permission to destroy protected lands. Our natural spaces are rapidly diminishing and Doug Ford said he would not touch the Green Belt. It’s time he lives up to that by striking these amendments down and protecting what he said he would.
