This absolutely cannot happen. With the state of the environment globally, the green belt needs to be protected and remain untouched. Ontario does NOT want this. Zoning laws within the city can be changed, reimposing rent control, taxing homeowners on any secondary houses after their own residence, are all much more effective Ways to help the housing crisis.
