I am appalled that Doug Ford…

I am appalled that Doug Ford is destroying our Greenbelt, particularly after campaigning on a promise to leave it alone. Thus is NOT the way forward. This destroys precious farmland, destroys wildlife habitat, destroys wetlands, and increases flood risk. How on earth can this possibly be a good idea. The houses that will be built on this land will be large, single family, resource intensive dwellings, where what we need to do is increase housing in existing areas. This proposal only serves to enrich Doug ford's friends and keep them filling the coffers of the conservative party. There are plenty of places to put homes in southern Ontario. Leave the greenbelt alone!
