The proposed highway 413…

The proposed highway 413 stands against the democratic rights of the Ontarian people.

Considering environment is an issue many of us heavily base our votes on, Doug Ford going back on his word to not build on the Greenbelt is enraging and a direct threat to our rights as voters.

Building upon biodiverse areas and wetlands threatens the future of us and our children. Many scientists can tell you why wetlands are important.

Alternatives to housing can be utilizing unused buildings in the city, of which there are many. Instead of destroying landmarks, we can use lots that have been abandoned for months/years.
In regards to traffic, trucks can be diverted to the underused 407 during peak hours, with free bypass.

The proposed highway 413 will cost Ontarians only to line the pockets of a few. Please consider listening to the voice of the Ontarian people of which Doug has claimed to trust and care about.
