I am appalled at the Ford…

I am appalled at the Ford government's insistence that they have a mandate for all of Ford's whims. The conservative party's previous leader Mr. Brown and the conservative party of Ontario had a plan for climate change and were not enemies of the environment or of the majority of The People of Ontario. Clean air was a priority. You have lost your way and obviously have not noticed more large vehicles on the roads. Bigger vehicles use more fuel. City dwellers want huge or fast gas guzzling cars because fuel is so inexpensive. This is in part because of better mileage from vehicles that were mandated to be more fuel efficient in the State of California a state that brought in Cap and Trade under a Republican Senator. Europe is successfully reducing its carbon footprint because carbon fuels are expensive and therefore it is desirable to find a better way. The few pennies per litre that funded fabulous programmes for all Ontarians was well worth the price for the job creation alone. Gas prices go up and down every day by 8 to 20 cents a litre at the whim of BIG OIL. If you did something about that then you would have something to crow about. Progress is made when change happens not by keeping the status quo. Even China has a rebate programme for electric vehicles. WHY does China do this? Because they are progressively marching forward to a cleaner future which equates to next generation technology and a more prosperous healthy future for all of China and mankind.
