The Greenbelt should be protected and a need for housing (and massive profit for developers) is not a good enough reason to open it up to development. Future generations will need farmland and greenspace, not endless sprawl. More can be done to encourage urban density and this government is incredibly irresponsible for working to remove these environmental protections that Ontarians need so vitally.
