Being part of an organization that sits within part of the Greenbelt removal, I know first hand of a developers wishes to buy our land. Low ball offers five years ago, meetings with their representatives, and finally harassment to encourage us to sell.
It appears the developer knew what was coming. If it looks like cheesecake, smells like cheesecake, it probably is cheesecake.
