Carbon pricing works. The savings you think you’re going to create will only have the benefit of getting you voted in, they won’t really help anyone. It’s a short-sighted election-based idea to cancel our participation. We need to reduce the emissions and when industry is forced to pay for polluting, they will find ways to curb that to increase their bottom line. That is basic free market capitalism there. It’s works. Keep it in place. You don’t have to undo everything Liberal out of spite, it’s not a good look.
