It seems that developers bought lands at low prices in the green belt knowing this legislation was being brought in. Maybe they were the ones who planned this legislation.
If this land is going to be swapped for other land, then let the builders buy that land and build there. Don’t destroy the green belt and the clean air and water for the existing homes.
This seems to be the conservatives doing with the green belt what the liberals did with the gas and coal plants. Brings back the same old memories from the liberals era.
