The parcels of Land which were chosen for the Greenbelt were chosen for a reason. You cannot simply cut away and paste in new land to restore some kind of acreage balance. That simply is not how the environment works.

And almost all municipalities have come out to say that there is plenty of existing land outside of the Greenbelt for development. So why these specific parcels? This proposal from the Ford governments is just plain bad and they should abandon it. Several years ago they promised not to touch the Greenbelt but clearly that was lies.
