It's disheartening (and frustrating) the shortsightedness of the provincial housing plan. This is not the best approach - it's the approach of a backdoor business deal(s) that impacts a very select few with deep pockets and provides homes for families (also with deep pockets).

We need to do better. Think outside the traditional standard house and yard. We can learn from other regions (european?) to find innovative ways to address housing needs and create homes. Green belts are proven scientifically to be an integral part of our environment. Why are we destroying places that were deemed protected?
